Chapter 2Handbook

Who this is for

And who it isn't

We work with businesses that value quality, transparency, and strategic thinking. Our ideal clients are forward-thinking organisations that understand the importance of reliable technology infrastructure.

Our Ideal Client Profile

Business Size

Roughly 20 to 200 staff. Big enough that IT failing costs you real money, small enough that you have never had anyone whose actual job is to own it.

Industry Focus

Construction and building companies in South East Queensland. Head contractors, civil, fitout, trades with a real back office. That is the whole list.

If you are not in construction we are probably not the right provider for you, and we will tell you that on the first call rather than three months in.

Growth Stage

Established businesses that are growing and need scalable technology solutions to support their expansion.

Values Alignment

Organisations that value transparency, accountability, and long-term partnerships over quick fixes.

Common Client Challenges

Outdated Systems

Legacy systems that are holding back business growth and efficiency.

Security Concerns

Increasing cybersecurity threats and compliance requirements.

Scalability Issues

Technology infrastructure that can't keep up with business growth.

Lack of IT Strategy

No clear technology roadmap or strategic planning.

What Our Clients Value

  • Reliability: Systems that work consistently and don't disrupt business operations
  • Transparency: Clear communication about what we're doing and why
  • Proactive Support: Preventing problems before they impact the business
  • Strategic Thinking: Technology decisions that align with business goals
  • Scalability: Solutions that grow with the business
  • Cost Effectiveness: Technology investments that provide clear ROI

What that looks like in practice

A few years ago I worked with a commercial manufacturer, custom doors and windows for fitouts. Three people did the estimating, led by the owner, and their bid times were all over the place. Some quotes went out same day, others took a week, and nobody could tell you why.

So we mapped the estimating process from scratch and got everyone working to the same one.

Within about two years that business went from three people turning over around five million to six people doing north of twenty. They did not cut a single role. They removed the bottleneck and grew into the space it opened up. Process was not the only thing that changed in those two years, but it was the constraint they had been stuck behind.

That is what we are actually for. Not cheaper IT. A business that can take on more work without the back office falling over.
